first_imgChris Hughton insists it is too early to judge Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham. The Argentine, who quit Southampton to take charge at White Hart Lane in the summer, is already coming under pressure having won just three of his nine Premier League games in charge this season. But Hughton – the former Spurs player, coach and caretaker manager – has given his backing to the 41-year-old.Speaking on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, he said: “He is still settling in.“He is just toying with what his best 11 is and we are only nine games into the season.“At this particular moment, they are only three points behind Arsenal and there is a long way to go.“He is still having that bedding in period, but there are some good signs.”last_img
