The Board has asked the Highway Department in assisting our residents in the removal of this debris.County residents need to put all tree and yard debris on the curb for County Highway personnel to pick it up. Only organic yard waste materials will be taken by the County, and the pile should be free of any other trash or building materials.Once the debris is placed at the curb, residents should call the Department of Infrastructure, Planning & Growth at (574) 235-7800 to register their address and be put on the list for pick-up. Residents may also go to http://sjcindiana.com/reportaconcern and file a “Storm Debris” concern to request a pick-up.All requests must be received by January 13, 2021. Highway crews will continue to work over the next two weeks, depending on weather, to collect the debris. No debris should be placed in the road, or in any way obstruct or endanger the travelling public.
