first_imgFootball governing body FIFA has exonerated its president Sepp Blatter of all corruption charges but has suspended senior executives Mohammed Bin Hammam and Jack Warner over bribery allegations.The FIFA ethics committee met to deliberate over the most damaging corruption crisis to have hit the sports body.They provisionally suspended the two senior officers amid allegations that they bribed voters in the presidential election campaign.A full blown investigation will now be conducted and if found guilty, the executive council members could be banned for life from all football activity.Blatter, who had been accused of purposely ignoring the bribery, was cleared by the committee.The FIFA chief will now stand unopposed for a fourth term of presidency.last_img
